Seed request and donation management system (SRDMS)

Abstract

The existing seeds request and donation management system, for research, at Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) is a manual system which is not fulfilling the required objectives. To overcome the problems and deficiencies of current system, the staff need an automated system to manage the requests and donation of seeds. Seed Request and Donation Management System (SRDMS) is developed to cater for the said requirements in an effective and efficient manner. SRDMS is a web based software which manages the requests made by an applicant for the issuance of seeds, and donation of seeds offered by different research community to PARC. SRDMS is designed to meet all the functional requirements of PARC and inclusion of some additional features to facilitate the user and the organization as well, like keeping track of seeds in the storage. This system will surely help the organization to save its precious time, human and material resources.
