Abstract: The sign ificance of chi ld health for a strong nation and its relation with mother cannot be denied. Child hea lth especially in early years of life is very much dependent on their pare nts' hea lth seeking behavior and surrou nding environment. Different demographic survey reports have discussed the strong relationship between mothers' ed ucation and ch ild hea lth. Internationally extensive work has been done to explain the pathways through which maternal education affect the child health but unfortunately in Pakistan very few researches were carried to explore the significance of this maternal education and child health relationship. It has been widely accepted and discussed that well - being of children cannot be improved without understanding the connection of parents' education and children's health .
